Pursuant to the Oregon Public Records Law (ORS 192.311 et seq.), I request electronic copies of the records described below. This is a request for existing records; it does not ask the institution to create a new record, conduct legal research, or answer questions. PURPOSE (context only; this is a request for EXISTING RECORDS, not a demand to change policy): This request concerns whether and how adoption and parenting information appear with equal prominence to abortion, contraception, and related reproductive-health topics on student-health / campus-health webpages. For context only, many campuses nationwide are asked to present adoption and parenting as clearly as other options and, where appropriate, to include a confidential adoption helpline such as 1-800-ADOPTION (1-800-236-7846). The records categories below are the ask. SCOPE This request concerns the institution’s student-health / campus-health webpages for University of Oregon (UO). It includes records held by the institution or any of its campuses/colleges, including records held by student health, student services, web/digital services, communications/marketing, public information, legal, accessibility, or other offices involved in creating, approving, maintaining, reviewing, or archiving those webpages. Reference student-health/campus-health webpage URL(s) identified in the contact directory: - https://health.uoregon.edu/ TIME PERIOD January 1, 2020 through the date you process this request and provide your response. CONTENT STANDARDS, EQUALITY, AND PROMINENCE Policies, standards, guidelines, checklists, templates, training materials, accessibility or communications guidance, editorial rules, review criteria, and related records concerning how student-health webpage topics are selected, labeled, organized, linked, described, or given visibility. This includes records addressing pregnancy options, adoption, parenting, contraception, abortion, reproductive health, sexual health, or other reproductive services, and any standard or discussion of equal, comparable, balanced, or prominent visibility among those topics. 3. ADOPTION AND PARENTING VISIBILITY Records that discuss, evaluate, propose, approve, reject, compare, measure, or otherwise concern the visibility of adoption, parenting, pregnancy options, pregnancy support, or related referrals on the webpages, including their presence or absence, placement, navigation path, prominence, headings, labels, links, search visibility, page location, calls to action, and comparison with contraception, abortion, or other reproductive services. Include complaints, inquiries, audits, accessibility reviews, analytics, meeting materials, drafts, and communications on these subjects. 4. CURRENT AND PRIOR PUBLISHED WEBPAGE CONTENT Current and prior versions of the webpages and related published copy from the time period, including archived or superseded text, page captures, drafts that were approved or published, source files, content-management exports, page metadata, navigation/menu records, link inventories, and records showing changes to the webpages. Please include content about adoption, parenting, pregnancy options/support, contraception, abortion, reproductive health, and other reproductive services, whether presented on one page or across linked pages.
