The Columbus Dispatch is requesting the following:
• Copy of current concussion protocol for football and for other sports if they differ.
• Copy of the most recent waiver football players sign that limits liability of the university due to injury.
• Copy of the most recent waiver football players sign that allows coaches to share health information as it relates to games and availability for play and practice.
• Written notifications or fines from the Big Ten, PAC 12 or NCAA to the University of Oregon for violating the concussion protocol standards of the league or NCAA.
• Copy of current concussion management plan for football and other sports if they have different concussion management plans.
• A spreadsheet of diagnosed concussions in student athletes for the years 2021 through 2025 that are required to be filed with the NCAA which includes deidentified data and no protected personal or health information.
• Contract with a third-party submitting concussion reports on the university’s behalf to the NCAA.
