Pursuant to the state open records act, The Chronicle of Higher Education is requesting records in possession of your institution. I am writing to request access to and obtain copies of documents of any settlements, both informal and civil, entered into by the University of Oregon that satisfy the following conditions:

- Included a then-enrolled student or students as a party to the settlement

- Contained one or more non-disclosure agreements or confidentiality clauses

- Were made effective after June 30, 2017 but before June 28, 2019
