To the Office of Public Records, I would like to request the names of everyone at the University of Oregon who received a retention offer from the start of the 2015 academic year to present. I also request the amount of the salary increase offered. I am specifying these two pieces of information if it is easier for you to provide those rather than contracts, but whatever you can provide easiest with that information is fine. I would also request a full waiver of fee in the name of the public interest. I have been told by administrators and professors at the university that one of the greatest reasons for salary increases among tenured faculty is retention offers, and if these are disproportionately given to men, then that would negatively impact the public for many reasons.
