I am requesting under the state public records law copies of or access to email, letters or any other documents relating to University of Oregon President Richard Lariviere’s response to the recent letter from Chancellor George Pernsteiner regarding salary increases for hundreds of administrators. The chancellor asked President Lariviere to respond by Sept. 26  with an explanation of  how total employee compensation at the University of Oregon will remain within the Governor’s parameters for the 2011-13 biennium using as the starting point the July 2009 salary rates and the June 2011 benefit costs.
