I’d like to request an electronic copy of the University of Oregon Athletic Department’s polices regarding criminal convictions of student athletes. I’ve already requested this in writing from the Athletic Department but am submitting this request at the advice of Craig Pintens.

Specifically, I’m seeking written documentation of the department’s policies regarding the admittance or continuation of prospective or current student-athletes who have criminal convictions for:

Felonies

Misdemeanors

Juvenile convictions

Additionally, I’m requesting any written policy outlining disclosure requirements by prospective or current student-athletes about criminal convictions, and any written policy outlining the department’s efforts or requirements to review or screen prospective or current student-athletes’ criminal convictions as a condition of playing.
