Pursuant to the state open records act, The Chronicle of Higher Education is requesting records in possession of your institution. 1a. Database(s) and/or dataset(s) that catalog(s) purchase orders generated by your institution for services rendered to the institution for fiscal years 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. (This request mirrors those made by the company SmartProcure). The Chronicle requests that you provide dataset(s) that contains the following fields^:- Purchase order number (If purchase orders are not used a comparable substitute is acceptable, i.e., invoice, encumbrance, or check number)- Purchase date- Line item details (Detailed description of the purchase)- Line item quantity- Line item price- Vendor ID number, name, address, contact person and their email address- What period of time is covered by these database(s) or dataset(s)? 1b.If such database(s) and/or dataset(s) is unavailable, I request: Database(s) and/or dataset(s) that catalog(s) the independent vendors or independent contractors compensated by your institution for services rendered to the institution for fiscal years 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.  The Chronicle requests that you provide dataset(s) that contains the following fields^:- Vendor name- Compensation earned by vendor- Transaction and/or purchase date- What period of time is covered by these database(s) or dataset(s)? ^Please exclude fields which would disclose exempt information or are not readily available. However, please provide all readily available fields and all readily available datasets which are associated with the above described database(s) or dataset(s), not just the requested fields. 2. Please provide materials in an electronic, searchable format when possible. If possible, I request that these records be provided in an electronic format that can be imported into standard database software, such as Excel, Access or SQL open-source software. If that is not possible, I request that this data be supplied in a common electronic form using delimited text file(s), such as tab-delimited or comma-delimited. 3. I am requesting any lookup tables, field layouts code sheets or other documents needed to interpret the data.
