1. Is your student health clinic open to the public? If so, what percent do students comprise of the patient population?

2. We are clarifying the budget questions to align with the way most universities request and report this information as part of their budgeting process.

  • We are seeking the total operating revenue and total operating expenses for the student health clinic for 2012 and 2017. Most universities have been giving us fiscal year 2013 (mid-2012 to mid-2013) and fiscal year 2018 (mid 2017 to mid-2018).

  • We are also seeking a breakdown the following items for 2012 and 2017 for the student health clinic:

o $ amount of the total operating revenue that came from insurance revenue

o $ amount of the total operating revenue that came from fee-for-services

o $ amount of the total operating revenue that came from prepaid funding (i.e. designated health fees or institutional allocations from tuition and fees)

3. We are seeking the total operating revenue and total operating expenses for the counseling center, including psychological and psychiatric services, for 2012 and 2017

4. Our file shows that you had 7.2 FTE physicians and 24.8 FTE nurses in 2012 and 6.3 FTE physicians and 27.8 FTE nurses in 2017. We want to make sure to include all licensed healthcare providers.

  • Please provide the following for the student health clinic:

o Full-time equivalent medical doctors (non-psychiatric) in 2012:

o Full-time equivalent medical doctors (non-psychiatric) in 2017:

o Full-time equivalent licensed healthcare providers in 2012 (this includes nurses of all degrees, physician’s assistants, etc.):

o Full-time equivalent licensed healthcare providers in 2017:

  • How many full-time equivalent psychiatrists (working either at the counseling center or health clinic) did your institution employ in 2012 and 2017?

5. The link you provided for medical service fees does not appear to be a comprehensive list as it states “additional fees for laboratory tests, x rays, prescriptions, dental care, physical therapy, and other special services and supplies.” Please provide the full standard fee list, with CPT codes if possible, for all services and procedures provided at the student health clinic.
