Under the Oregon Public Records (OPR) Law, § 192.410 et seq, FAIR hereby requests that you produce records of communication between UO staff members (i.e., faculty members, officers of administration, classified staff members, and graduate employees) and UO students from May 1, 2018 through May 22, 2018. Specifically,
1) Any and all records of communication (including but not limited to emails, attachments, correspondence, memoranda) with UO staff members discussing their decision to send OFIR President Cynthia Kendoll a letter suggesting that the university will take legal action against her organization if she doesn’t stop using the green “O” because it too closely resembles the “O” in its own logo."
2) Any and all records of communication (including but not limited to emails, attachments, memoranda) between any UO staff member and members of the UO student group Oregon Chicanos, or MEChA, relating to the “O” in UO and/or the “O” in OFIR or Oregonians for Immigration Reform.
3) Any and all records of communication (including but not limited to emails, attachments, memoranda) between any UO staff member and UO student relating to the “O” in UO and/or the “O” in OFIR or Oregonians for Immigration Reform.
