Pursuant to the state open records act, I request access to and copies of financial documents relating to the University of Oregon's athletic department operating budget that includes funds used for academic support for athletes coming from the University's General Fund. These services, according to an Oct. 7 Oregonian article, include counseling and tutoring services, and which will receive a budget of $1.8 million for this academic year. I request all documents that deal with general fund money being spent on services for athletes or the athletic department in general. [WITHDRAWN]
