This is a request under the Oregon Public Records Law, Or. Rev. Stat. Ann. 192.410 to .505.At many universities, the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) uses an internal communications platform, such as a members-only email list (often called a "listserv") in which any email sent to the listserv's address is automatically sent to everyone who belongs to that list. Other internal communications platforms include Slack, Trello, and Microsoft Teams.Similarly, in many institutions there is a listserv, Slack, or other internal communications platform for other people involved in the use and care of research animals (often generically referred to as the university's “animal program”), including veterinary staff, the people who house and procure research animals, and staff at specific facilities (such as primate colonies). We hereby request all communications (including attachments, photographs, and video) from these listservs, Slacks, and other communications platforms that relate to your institution’s IACUC and animal program. The time frame for this request is September 1, 2018 to the present.
