REQUESTED ITEMS  (1) Any and all agreements and/or purchase orders for software or services that University of Oregon ("UO") currently has or has previously had with Symplicity Corporation ("Symplicity"), a maker of student conduct and other higher education software solutions. Notwithstanding, please exclude from the scope of this request any such agreements and/or purchase orders that are exclusively for the procurement of career services software. (2) Any and all public records, as defined under Or. Rev. Stat. § 192.005(5), that were produced while or used during the deliberations leading to awarding the agreement(s) and/or purchase orders discovered in item #1 above, including but not limited to (a) "requests for proposal" ("RFPs"), "requests for information" ("RFIs") "requests for quote" ("RFQs"), "requests for pricing," or other similar documents; (b) all submissions to UO provided in response to the items described in (2)(a); (c) documentation establishing or justifying a "sole source" or similar form of procurement; (d) specification documents, evaluation matrices, further vendor responses or submissions (such as follow up clarifications or questions and answers); (e) meeting minutes, memoranda; (f) any documented internal communication, including but not limited to electronic mail, between staff members at UO; (g) any documented external communication, including but not limited to electronic mail, between staff members at UO and any third party, including but not limited to vendors or references; (h) or any other items similar, related, or otherwise germane to those named above. Please interpret these requests both literally and liberally.Do not presume any item that fits within the above descriptions to be irrelevant or unworthy of production simply on account of who is requesting it. Also, please be mindful in conducting your record search of potential misspellings, such as "Simplicity," or common shorthand, such as the use of "Corp" in place of "Corporation."
