Under Oregon Revised Statutes, I am making a Public Records request for a copy of the University of Oregon’s recent contract with Robert M. Berdahl, who according to news reports, was hired Oct. 17 at an annual salary of $96,000 to serve as adviser to the UO president two days a week. I am also requesting records that document the basis for Mr. Berdahl’s Public Employee Retirement benefits. I expect that would be based on his last three years as an employee of the University of Oregon as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, but I”m not certain of that. Please also send me all other documents relevant to Mr. Berdahl’s PERS benefits and his recent contract with the University of Oregon.
